The pension is located in an Art Nouveau building, which was
established in 1906 by viennese architect Alois Schützenberger.
It is to mention that the façade stands under protection of monuments
as well as the forging entrance door which is also in Art Nouveau
design.
The hotel pension was taken over at 1969 by the Széles family and runs as a family business in third generation. Likewise the name "Quisisana" was taken as a trademark. The name "QUISISANA" was already used as a term in ancient Rome for shelters and inns (the translated meaning of Quisisana is: to feel well and healthy).
Due to the expansion of the roman empire up to our boundaries, was this term also known in the austrian area. There are some more hotels and pensions in the mid-european area using this expression.
Henceforth exists Hotel-Pension Quisisana for 100 years. The owners
and its workers are hoping that all new and well known guests will
enjoy their stay with the most possible contentment. |
